My son, Kean, worked & practically grew up on the course and was jr club champion for two years before University called him away. Golden's course is laid out on an ancient delta of Holt Creek as it reaches the Columbia River from high in the Purcell Mountain Range. The front nine designed by Bill Newis has matured into an attractive, challenging, however very playable experience with the outstanding mountain views being a welcome distraction.
The back nine designed by Les Furber has received rave reviews from golfers everywhere. No. 11 is the signature hole with Holt Creek splashing and laughing on your left and Mt 7 rising in the background. Why Mt 7? Early June is a great time to discover for yourself. Check out the new creek alignment, rock along the creek and tee box on #2 plus #3 fairway.There are more Golden Adventures and nearby National Parks to enjoy!
