Golden has great terrain and snow conditions for snowmobiling. Golden is a snowmobiling community, with over one thousand kilometers of trail with beginner, intermediate & advanced ratings. Snowmobile tours offers a safe and easy introduction to Golden and an exciting winter recreation.

Rentals and guided trips can be arranged. Full or half day rides with snowmobiles, boots and suits supplied plus a friendly and experienced guide to introduce you to this exciting winter adventure. After a cool day on the sled, enjoy a hot & soothing hottub or jacuzzi at Alpine Meadows Lodge.

Golden has a great selection of trails for snowmobiling, with regular grooming by the Golden Snowmobile Club. Trails at Quartz Creek(10), Blaeberry(1) or from nearby Golden Golf Course to Gorman(9) & Lang(8) offer an exciting range of mountain terrain. Take an experienced guide or be prepared for mountain winter conditions, have safety equipment and know how to use it!!

One of our guests was three year old Ty from Calgary. As you can see Ty went cruising on our trails at the lodge with his own snowmobile! Ty learned quickly under his Dad's careful coaching. With a special throttle limit, Ty was soon following his Dad down the trail. Later Ty went with his Dad on the big machine on our trails up to Cedar Lake. I guess the lesson is that you are never too old(or young) to learn how to enjoy great adventures in the Canadian Rockies!
